Alleged dummy units of the apple Iphone6 have emerged on the web. The images posted below show us a physical mock-up of the upcoming Apple iPhone 6. These black-coloured dummies are expected to be of the 5.5- or 5.7-inch variant of the next iPhone, and indicate that the next-gen Apple iPhone may sport a new design. We also have one more image of another dummy unit, which gives us a better look at the iPhone 6’s 4.7-inch variant.
The mock-ups in these images are reported to be a iPhone 6 dummy meant for case designers. The images also suggest that the iPhone 6 will be much thinner than the iPhone 5S, and resembling the Apple iPod Touch, at least in terms of slimness. It looks like the power/lock and volume rocker keys will be on the side of the phone. The dummy units also show a protruding camera on the back along with an LED flash, which falls in line with the previous reports.
The leaks are in line with the previously leaked pictures of the alleged iPhone 6 we saw earlier. An earlier report indicated that Apple is facing manufacturing-related issues for the next-gen iPhone’s batteries. The report stated that the iPhone 6’s 5.5- or 5.7-inch variant won't be available in the market before 2015, since manufacturers are finding it tough to develop thin batteries. The next-generation iPhone could also deny usage while driving, a report indicated earlier.
