The Lenovo S5000 the slimmest 7-inch Android tablet with a metal body at 10,999

The slate was originally introduced at the IFA 2013 trade fair, has been launched in India only now. Weighing 246grams and measuring 7.9mm in thickness, Lenovo claims it is one of the lightest and slimmest 7-inch tablets available. Priced at Rs 10,999, the S5000 is exclusively available on Amazon India.
Talking about the features, the Lenovo S5000 features a 7-inch HD IPS display with a 178 degree wide viewing angle. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. Camera-wise it offers a 5MP autofocus rear snapper and a 1.6MP HD front shooter. Featuring 16GB of internal storage, the slate comes with the regular array of connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG. It also features a micro-SIM slot for voice-calling features. A 3,450mAh battery keeps the show running, which according to the vendor offers up to 8 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing and up to 6 hours of HD video playback.
