the Taiwanese manufacturer is planning to introduce the HTC Desire 816 in the country in May. The phone was originally introduced at MWC this year.
Talking about specs, the HTC Desire 816 is a mid-range Android 4.4.2 KitKat powered smartphone and, as usual, includes the Sense 5.5 custom UI. The device features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The phone features a 13MP rear and a 5MP front shooter. The primary 13MP camera sensor offers 1,080p video recording and an LED flash. There is 8GB of internal storage on board along with the option to add up to 64GB more via microSD cards. The device also boasts BoomSound front speakers, and is fuelled by a 2,600mAh battery.
The HTC Desire 816 is expected to be priced below Rs 25,000 in the Indian market. More details are expected to emerge soon.
